For filmmaker Jeroen Kooijmans, creating art is his reason for living, although it sometimes leads him to deep despair. The film features incredibly raw footage of himself during a psychological struggle. This intimate documentary reconstructs the period leading up to those moments, drawing entirely from personal archival material of himself and his beloved. Above all, 'Love-22-Love' is a love letter to his wife, artist Elspeth Diederix, his anchor in life and the light at the end of his tunnel.
