Cinemini: A Magical Film Experience for Kids

Children aged 2 to 6 years will enjoy their first cinema experience in our cozy film hall. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers can participate in Taartrovers Cinemini, a special program where they experience film and get to play in a beautiful light landscape. During Taartrovers Cinemini, we showcase beautiful, charming, exciting, abstract, narrative, and sometimes challenging short films tailored for toddlers and preschoolers. After the films, children will play together in a landscape filled with light, made up of various installations that allow them to explore how light can create stories. They will investigate shape, projection, light, shadow, stories, movement, and color. How do shadows form? Where do images come from? How do shapes grow or shrink, and how do they disappear into nothing? What stories can they see in the shapes? For adults, shadow might be an obvious phenomenon, but for children, it could be like magic—a wizard that turns adults into tall giants. PROGRAM Together is better than alone! Together, you can embark on the most extraordinary adventures, like searching for the third dimension or returning a rock creature to its home. Will all the friends manage to succeed?
