Join the adventure with Taartrovers Cinemini and discover the world of light and stories!

Children aged 2 to 6 will experience their first cinema visit in our cozy screening room. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers will enjoy the Taartrovers Cinemini, a special program where they can engage with films and play within a stunning landscape of light. During Taartrovers Cinemini, we showcase beautiful, heartwarming, exciting, abstract, narrative, and sometimes challenging short films designed especially for young children. After the film, attendees will play together in a light landscape, comprised of various installations that encourage them to explore how light can create stories. They will investigate shapes, projection, light, shadow, stories, movement, and color. How do shadows form? Where do images come from? How do shapes grow or shrink, and how do they disappear? For adults, shadows may seem commonplace, but for children, it might feel like a wizard turning grown-ups into long giants. **PROGRAM**: Raakt steeds verder van huis.. komt hij weer thuis? *MANNETJE TAK* Directed by Jeroen Jaspaert, Daniel Snaddon, 2015 United Kingdom 26 minutes Mannetje Tak lives happily with his family in an old oak tree. One day, while jogging, he is mistaken for various objects - a stick to play with, a twig for weaving into a swan’s nest, a flagpole, and even a sword. Gradually, Mannetje Tak finds himself further from home. Just when he has given up hope of returning, he meets Santa Claus!
