Cinemini: A Journey of Discovery

Children aged 2 to 6 experience their first cinema visit in our cozy screening room. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers dive into Taartrovers Cinemini, a special program filled with enchanting short films designed to stimulate their imagination. During Taartrovers Cinemini, we showcase beautiful, heartwarming, exciting, abstract, narrative, and sometimes challenging short films specifically for young children. After the films, visitors can engage in play within a captivating landscape of light, featuring various installations where children can explore how light creates stories. They will investigate shapes, projection, light, shadow, narratives, movement, and color. How are shadows created? Where do images come from, how do shapes expand or contract, and how do they disappear into nothingness? What stories can they discern within these forms? For adults, shadows may seem ordinary, but for children, they can feel like a magician transforming grown-ups into tall giants. PROGRAM: What are you seeking?
