ABOUT THIS EVENT

Children aged 2 to 6 will experience their first cinema visit in our cozy film room. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers can enjoy Taartrovers Cinemini, a unique program where they watch films and play in a beautiful light landscape. This program includes enchanting, exciting, and thought-provoking short films designed specifically for young audiences. After the screening, kids can explore an interactive light landscape made up of various installations, allowing them to discover how light creates stories. They will investigate shapes, projection, light, shadows, and colors—uncovering the magic of shadows and stories. **Featured Films:** - **Mister Paper** by Steven de Beul & Ben Tesseur (8 min): A beautiful day as Mister Paper goes for a walk, creating companions from old newspapers. - **Tourist Trap** by Vera van Wolferen (2 min): Jeep finds a tropical paradise, but his adventures are disrupted by unexpected visitors. - **Eating Ice Cream** by Ton van Saane (5 min): How many ice creams are too many? Children in this whimsical animated film grapple with just that question. - **Dodu** by José Miguel Ribeiro (5 min): A cardboard boy and his ladybug embark on thrilling adventures on a sea of dreams. - **My Happy End** by Milan Vitanov (5 min): What if a dog’s tail was more than just a body part?
