ABOUT THIS EVENT

Set in a remote farmhouse in Germany's Altmark, explore the intertwining lives of four girls from different eras: Alma (1910s), Erika (1940s), Angelika (1980s), and Lenka (2020s). As they navigate their own realities, echoes of their pasts resonate within the walls: unspoken fears, suppressed traumas, and hidden secrets. Alma fears the fate of her deceased sister, Erika is ensnared by a dangerous fascination with her disabled uncle, Angelika struggles with familial instability, while Lenka grapples with her identity in her family. Despite the years that separate them, their lives mysteriously intertwine. When a tragic event repeats itself at the farmhouse, the boundaries between past and present begin to blur. Through Her Lens is an international film night focusing on female perspectives. Everyone is welcome, and no membership is required. Join us for films made by women, complemented by space for connections and conversations.
