Cinemini: Draak Dries (A Magical Experience for Kids)
7th of December and 7th of June — Natlab
A delightful film adventure for children aged 2 to 6!
Welcome to Cinemini, where children ages 2 to 6 embark on their very first cinema experience in our cozy screening room. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers enjoy Taartrovers Cinemini, a special program that combines film viewing with imaginative play in a stunning light landscape.
During Taartrovers Cinemini, we showcase beautiful, captivating, exciting, abstract, narrative, and sometimes challenging short films tailored for young audiences. After the film, children engage with various installations in a light landscape that allows them to playfully discover how light can tell stories. They explore shape, projection, light, shadow, narrative, movement, and color. What creates shadows? Where do images come from, and how do shapes get bigger or smaller? For adults, shadows are commonplace, but for children, they can be magical, transforming them into towering giants.
