ABOUT THIS EVENT
Children aged 2 to 6 will enjoy their first cinema visit in our cozy screening room. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers can experience the Taartrovers Cinemini, a special program where they watch films and play in a stunning light landscape.
During Taartrovers Cinemini, we showcase beautiful, heartwarming, exciting, abstract, narrative, and sometimes thought-provoking short films, specifically for toddlers and preschoolers. After the screening, children play together in a light landscape filled with various installations that help them explore how light can create stories. They investigate shape, projection, light, shadow, stories, movement, and color. How do shadows form? Where do images come from? How do shapes grow or shrink, and how do they disappear into thin air? What stories can they see in these shapes? While shadows might seem ordinary to adults, for children, it's like magic transforming them into towering figures.
