Cinemini | Together - A Magical Film Experience for Kids

Children aged 2 to 6 can experience their first movie outing in our cozy screening room. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers can enjoy Taartrovers Cinemini, a unique program that allows them to watch films and play in a beautiful light landscape. During Taartrovers Cinemini, we showcase lovely, charming, exciting, abstract, narrative, and sometimes challenging short films specifically for toddlers and preschoolers. After the films, children play together in a light landscape made up of various installations that encourage playful exploration of how light can create stories. They will investigate form, projection, light, shadow, storytelling, movement, and color. How do shadows appear? Where do images come from, how do shapes grow or shrink, and how do they disappear? For adults, shadows may seem ordinary, but for children, they can feel like magic, transforming adults into tall giants. **Program Highlights:** - *Together is more fun than alone!* Experience extraordinary adventures like searching for the third dimension or helping a rocky creature return home. **Featured Films:** - **Rabbit and Deer** (Peter Vacz, 2014, Hungary, 16 minutes): Rabbit and Deer live happily, until their friendship is tested by Deer’s new obsession: finding the formula for the third dimension. After an unexpected accident, Deer ends up in a strange new world.
