Biotopia: A Dance Exploration of Isolation and Connection

In Biotopia, we follow five astronauts who are forced to leave Earth in search of a safe haven for humanity. Their destination: Planet Nine, a theorized planet beyond our solar system. Within their confined living space in space, they rely solely on each other. Personal freedom turns into enforced togetherness, and individuality gives way to the collective's needs. What begins as a shared mission slowly transforms into a psychological trial. Relationships shift from love to envy, and a sense of security morphs into irritation. When their probe collides with floating space debris, chaos ensues. Biotopia is a dynamic dance performance featuring five dancers amidst a futuristic setting, navigating all physical aspects of enforced togetherness—from tender and poetic interaction to explosive partner work.
