The Best of Me: A Unique Theater Experience
1st of February 2025 at 15:00 — Natlab
Join Theater Artemis for a heartfelt exploration of life's melodies!
A folk singer takes the stage, ready for the concert of his life, sharing songs that reflect his journey. Hits include 'My dear but naughty dog', 'A difficult Christmas Eve with family', and 'Oh dear spring, where have you gone?'
He begins joyfully singing poignant songs about his melancholic life. But will the audience be willing to hear this sorrow? As his tunes start to sound eerily similar, the children begin to grow restless. The theater realizes they may have booked the wrong act for a younger demographic. Subtly, the theater programmers try to figure out how to end the performance. But how do you stop someone who doesn’t want to stop or even notices?
The Best of Me is a performance about the magic of theater, demonstrating how small actions can create big changes. It's a reminder that collaboration often leads to greater impact than going it alone. Wait... is that the folk singer behind the technology, or is the technology chasing after the folk singer? And how can it suddenly snow on stage?
