Cinemini: Unique Animal Adventures
11th of January 2026 — Natlab
Join us for a magical first cinema experience for young ones!
Children aged 2 to 6 can enjoy their first cinema visit in our cozy screening room. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers will experience Taartrovers Cinemini, a special program where they watch films and play in a stunning light landscape.
During Taartrovers Cinemini, we showcase beautiful, gentle, exciting, abstract, narrative, and sometimes challenging short films, specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers. After the films, attendees engage in imaginative play within a light landscape, featuring various installations that allow children to discover how light can create stories. They explore form, projection, light, shadow, storytelling, movement, and color. How are shadows created? Where do images come from? How do shapes grow or shrink, and where do they disappear? While shadows may seem ordinary to adults, to children, they can feel as magical as wizards elevating them into giant figures.
