Cinemini | Weather and Wind

Cinemini invites children aged 2 to 6 to enjoy their first cinema visit in our cozy screening room. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers experience Taartrovers Cinemini, a special program where they can enjoy films and play in a stunning landscape of light. During Taartrovers Cinemini, we showcase beautiful, heartfelt, exciting, abstract, narrative, and sometimes challenging short films specifically for toddlers and preschoolers. After the films, attendees will play together in a light landscape featuring various installations that allow children to discover how light can create stories. They will explore shape, projection, light, shadow, stories, movement, and color. How are shadows formed? Where do images come from? How do shapes get bigger or smaller, and how do they disappear into nothing? What stories can they see within the shapes? For adults, shadows may be a given, but for children, they might just be the magic that turns adults into towering giants. PROGRAM What will the weather be like today? The weather can be hard to predict. It might rain, blow hard, or be so beautiful that you can lie on the beach all day. But one thing is for sure: there are four seasons in a year—sometimes even in a single day!
