Cinemini | Extraordinary Animals

Children aged 2 to 6 will experience their first visit to the cinema in our cozy screening room. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers will enjoy Taartrovers Cinemini, a unique program where they can experience films and play in a stunning landscape of light. During Taartrovers Cinemini, we showcase beautiful, heartfelt, thrilling, abstract, narrative, and sometimes challenging short films specifically tailored for toddlers and preschoolers. Following the screening, kids will play together in a light landscape filled with various installations, allowing them to explore how light can create stories. They will investigate shapes, projections, light, shadow, stories, movement, and color. How do shadows form? Where do images come from? How do shapes change in size and disappear? And what stories can they see in these shapes? For adults, shadows may seem straightforward, but for children, it could be enchantment that transforms adults into towering giants.
