The Royal Ballet Presents: Giselle
3rd March 2026 and 5th April 2026 — Natlab
Experience the timeless tale of love and betrayal in this classic ballet.
The heart-wrenching story of Giselle, a peasant girl who falls in love with Albrecht, only to discover he is actually a nobleman betrothed to another. Overcome by despair, she takes her own life, leading to her spirit joining the vengeful Wili's—ghosts of wronged women seeking revenge on men. Albrecht, filled with regret, visits Giselle's grave where he must confront the Wili's and Giselle's spirit. This production, directed by Peter Wright in 1985, remains a cherished classic of The Royal Ballet, accompanied by the poignant music of Adolphe Adam and evocative designs by John Macfarlane that bring this tale of love, betrayal, and redemption to life.
Experience the live performance on 3rd March 2026 or catch the encore on 5th April 2026, featuring the same stunning depiction of this iconic ballet.
