Join us for an unforgettable cinematic adventure for young children!

Cinemini invites children aged 2 to 6 to experience their very first trip to the cinema in our cozy film hall. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers are treated to Taartrovers Cinemini, a unique program where they enjoy films and then play in a captivating landscape of light. During Taartrovers Cinemini, we screen beautiful, sweet, exciting, abstract, narrative, and sometimes challenging short films, specifically curated for young viewers. After the films, participants play together in a light landscape filled with various installations, allowing them to discover how light can create stories. They explore shape, projection, light, shadow, movement, and color. How do shadows form? Where do images come from, how do shapes change size, and what happens to forms when they seem to disappear? For adults, shadow is a common phenomenon, but for children, it may seem otherworldly and magical as they see giants created from their parents. **Program:** Meet the insect family through stunning perspectives, captivating sound effects, and beautiful animation styles—this series is a hit in France! Notably, the directors alternate animations with documentary footage, bringing nature even closer. **Minuscule** Directed by Thomas Szabo & Hélène Giraud, 2006 Origin: France Duration: 25 minutes The animals in Minuscule narrate their stories. Insects may seem tiny, but viewing the world through their eyes reveals a whole new perspective. Ants, spiders, craneflies, and ladybugs take on human traits as they navigate humorous daily situations. Join these insects on an adventure through lush meadows filled with grass and flowers!
