There, two mysterious figures emerge, disappearing into old photo albums. Novi leaps after them. In 'Kakek, Opa & Ik', Novi journeys through her family’s hidden stories. Through photo albums, letters, and forgotten melodies, she dives into the past. What begins as a playful exploration evolves into a magical voyage through her family history, intertwined with the shared colonial past of the Netherlands and Indonesia that continues to resonate today.
