Biotopia: A Dance Performance of Survival in Space

In Biotopia, we follow five space travelers who are forced to leave Earth in search of a safe haven for humanity. Their destination: Planet Nine, a theoretically confirmed planet beyond our solar system. Within the confines of their new habitat, they rely entirely on each other. Personal freedom gives way to forced togetherness, and individuality transforms into a focus on the collective. What starts as a collaborative mission slowly turns into a psychological trial. Relationships evolve from love to jealousy, and comfort becomes irritation. Chaos ensues when their probe collides with floating debris in space. Biotopia is a dynamic dance performance where five dancers, set against a futuristic backdrop, navigate the physical aspects of enforced proximity, ranging from gentle poetic interactions to explosive partner work. Through rich artistic exchanges with dancers and artists from various disciplines, their work emerges.
