An Interactive Cinematic Experience for Kids

OVER DIT EVENEMENT

Children aged 2 to 6 years will have their first cinema experience in our cozy screening room. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers can enjoy Taartrovers Cinemini, a unique program where they watch films and play in a beautiful light landscape. During Taartrovers Cinemini, we showcase charming, friendly, exciting, and sometimes challenging short films made especially for little ones. After the screening, the young visitors will explore a light landscape filled with installations that help them discover how light creates stories. They will investigate shapes, projections, light, shadows, tales, movement, and colors. How are shadows formed? Where do images come from, and how do shapes grow or shrink? What stories can they see in the forms? For adults, shadows may be mundane, but for children, it might feel like magic—transforming grown-ups into giants! The program also encourages imaginative play involving food, creating scenarios filled with spaghetti slurping and imaginative cooking. It reveals the fun hidden realities in everyday life. **Featured Films:** - Solami Habu (2024, Japan, 4 minutes) - Lunch (2021, Japan, 3 minutes) - Little Tiger (2014, 4 minutes) - Playing with Food (2016, 5 minutes) - Freiland Eier (2006, 10 minutes) Taartrovers Cinemini is developed by Taartrovers and Eye Filmmuseum.
