Since 1988, the Amsterdam Kleinkunst Festival has nurtured new generations of cabaret artists and Klein artists. With dedication and personal guidance, the AKF spots and supports talent while providing a space for experimentation. The festival adapts to the genre and the times, always upholding quality, individuality, and substance. The aim? To help new creators grow and to surprise a wide audience with work that resonates, touches, or simply hits the mark. Previous winners include notable names like Maarten van Roozendaal, Van der Laan and Woe, Yentl and de Boer, and many others who began as promising talents and evolved into leading voices in the world of Klein art.
