Open Hearts (Dogma '95) - A Heart-Wrenching Tale

Joachim and Cæcilie, a young couple from Copenhagen, are about to get married when Joachim is struck by a car. He survives the accident but is left paralyzed from head to toe. Marie, the woman responsible for the accident, is consumed by guilt and reaches out to her husband Niels, a doctor at the hospital, to support the couple. As Joachim bitterly pushes Cæcilie away, she seeks solace from Niels, who finds himself falling hopelessly in love with her.
