The Royal Opera Presents: Siegfried
31st March 2026 and 26th April 2026 — Natlab
Join Barrie Kosky for a mesmerizing journey through Wagner's epic tale!
An unsuspecting young man raised by a cunning dwarf embarks on an epic quest that brings him face to face with a broken sword, a fierce dragon guarding a cursed ring, and a Valkyrie trapped in enchanted sleep. This third act of Wagner's Ring Cycle is filled with moments of transcendent beauty and heroic triumphs, brought to life spectacularly by Barrie Kosky following his stunning renditions of Das Rheingold (2023) and Die Walküre (2025). Andreas Schager makes his long-awaited debut at The Royal Opera singing the title role of Siegfried, accompanied by Christopher Maltman as the powerful Wanderer, Peter Hoare as the treacherous Mime, and Elisabet Strid as a dazzling Brünnhilde, with Antonio Pappano conducting the ethereal score. Don't miss the LIVE performance on March 31, 2026, and catch the ENCORE on April 26, 2026, featuring a recording of the live show.
