Cinemini: Outdoor Adventures for Kids

Cinemini offers children aged 2 to 6 their first cinema experience in a cozy screening room. On Sunday mornings, toddlers and preschoolers will enjoy Taartrovers Cinemini, a special program where they not only watch films but also play in a beautiful light landscape. During Taartrovers Cinemini, we show charming, thrilling, abstract, narrative, and sometimes challenging short films crafted specifically for toddlers and preschoolers. Afterwards, children play together in a light landscape composed of various installations, where they can discover how light can create stories. They explore shapes, projections, light, shadows, narratives, movement, and colors. How do shadows form? Where do images come from? How do shapes grow or shrink, and how can they vanish into thin air? What stories do they see in the shapes? For adults, shadows may seem ordinary, but for children, they can be magical wonders that transform their world. **Program Highlights:** - **BORIYA**: A 16-minute film by Korean filmmaker Min Sung-Ah about a 7-year-old girl bored in rural daily life, searching for adventure. - **KOONG! FLAP! FLAP**: A 6-minute whimsical tale of a sleepy crocodile and a small bird. - **TWO FRIENDS**: A 4-minute narrative exploring friendship.
