Cinemini | Day and Night: A Magical Cinematic Experience for Kids

Children aged 2 to 6 years will experience their first cinema visit in our cozy screening room. On Sunday morning, toddlers and preschoolers immerse themselves in Taartrovers Cinemini, a special program that combines film viewing with interactive play in a beautiful light landscape. During Taartrovers Cinemini, we screen delightful, captivating, and imaginative short films tailored specifically for toddlers and preschoolers. After the screening, attendees get to play together in a light landscape filled with various installations that encourage playful exploration of how light can create stories. They will investigate shapes, projection, light, shadows, narratives, movement, and color. How do shadows form? Where do images come from? How do shapes grow or shrink, and how do they vanish? What stories can they discover within those shapes? While shadows may seem trivial to adults, for children, they can appear to be magical beings transforming adults into towering giants. **PROGRAM**: What do you do at night? When night falls and it seems like the world is asleep, a lot is still happening! The sun prepares for its next rise, bats awaken and embark on adventures, the moon goes missing, and a cuddly thief is on the loose. Stay awake and take a peek into the night!
