Instead of merely capturing the essence of Eindhoven, Wielders and van de Ven artistically rebuild its identity. Wielders' work features iconic locations such as the Evoluon, Flying Pins, TU/e, Strijp-S, the Sacred Heart Church, and the station. She blends multiple captures of the same subject into a singular image, where familiar structures become distortions reflecting movement and time. Van de Ven focuses on Strijp-S and the Ketelhuisplein, photographing from multiple angles to reflect the complex character of these spaces. His series highlights the historical and evolving aspects of Eindhoven, where each photograph becomes a starting point for creativity rather than a mere capture of reality.
