Carte Blanche: A Celebration of Creativity

Join us for an eclectic evening of dance where you’ll witness the creativity and artistry of third-year students from Fontys Dance Arts in Context. Each performer brings a unique blend of skills and perspectives to the stage, crafted from their personal artistic journeys. The program features a selection of short pieces choreographed by the students themselves, along with two longer works by guest choreographers: Nick Coutsier, presenting pieces by Eastman / Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, and Fredrika “Freddie” Burvall, who will debut an original work. Please note that different works will be showcased each evening, so the student-choreography program may vary depending on the performance you attend. Performances include works from Anna Van der Burght, Azra Baltic, Beatriz Mendes, Eduarda Marques, Laia Ruiz Marin, Rim Abdeljalil, and Yasmin Kakavand, among others, highlighting the rich tapestry of talents in the dance community.
