This vibrant, summer cultural festival is perfect for all ages, featuring delightful food, dancing, games, and fantastic music. Every year, Alegria transforms the Ketelhuisplein on Strijp-S in Eindhoven into a Latin American and Caribbean destination. It’s a free festival where everyone is welcome to enjoy live Latin music, Latin DJs, a world market with diverse products and services, along with dance workshops and various fun activities for both young and old. There’s something for everyone! Enjoy the music and the array of activities at our world market. Participate in dance workshops or explore stalls offering unique products and services. Children have plenty of games and activities to keep them entertained as well. The festival area will feature a variety of food stalls serving mouthwatering international dishes, with plenty of cozy spots to share and sample delicious treats! Of course, cocktails and other global drinks will also be available to enjoy throughout the day.
